Sweet And Sour Chicken

Believe it or not, it wasn't until I was an adult that I learned that dipping your chicken in the sauce wasn't the right way to make Sweet and Sour Chicken, but it is still my favorite way.

Sweet and sour chicken has always had a very personal place in my heart. I've always loved dipping my chicken in the sauce, and it was always the first food I went to when my parents took us out to eat at a Chinese restaurant. Enough so that it was one of the first things that I wanted to learn how to do when I decided to really start cooking Chinese Food.

This sauce is to DIE for, I am more than happy to say that it tastes better than the sweet and sour sauce you get at the restaurant. I'm honestly thinking about trying to jar some to take out as a dip at random times.

This weekend was about family coming together to cook amazing food and spend time with each other, this dish was actually made by my mom, who also helped with other dishes, and personally I think that it turned out amazing!
